A method to collect coupons on a mobile phone has been presented in . Several commercial systems that copy coupons to the user’s mobile phone already exist. Bluespot1 provides kiosks where users can copy a coupon to their mobile phone via Bluetooth.
An ADXL330 accelerometer, which is able to sense acceleration along three axis, is integrated in a Wii Remote. An ADXL330 is a thin, low power, 3-axis accelerometer with signal conditioned voltage outputs. The dynamic acceleration can be measured from motion, shock or vibration. An ADXL330 accelerometer can measure acceleration with a minimum full-scale range -3g to 3g. While we envisage that future versions of Slice&Dice might use the ADXL330 as a component of a smaller wireless sensor, the Wii Remote provides an excellent platform for developing and evaluating classiﬁers in utensils that can still retain a usable form factor.
